PENConsulting services had reached various part of the globe
The first PENConsulting’s consultancy services were providing professional consultancy for geothermal power project renegotiation of energy sales agreement for an IPP company and formulation of strategic plan for a non-government organization in environmental affairs. Within 10 years, PENConsulting services had reached various part of the globe, as far north as Oslo, Norway (Statoil), as south as Brisbane, Australia (BC Engineering), as west as Reykjavik, Iceland (Reykjavik Energy Invest), and as far east as Tokyo, Japan (West Japan Engineering Consultant).
The consultancy business suffered a downturn
For the first 16 years, PENConsulting occupied its office at the Graha Niaga, Jalan Sudirman prime business district. The consultancy business suffered a down-turn in 2016 due to the collapse oil and coal prices then followed by the Covid pandemic.
Rejuvenated the organization
In June 2020, we rejuvenated the organization by bringing younger leadership to the Board of Directors, also former Chevron senior executives. Our new office is located at Office 8 Sudirman Central Business District. However, to ensure the health and safety of our people during the pandemic, most of the time the activity is managed from home. Since then, the business starts picking up, more consultancy services are needed to rebuild the energy business into the new norms.
