Study on Reactivation of Non-Active Oil Structures and Wells at Pertamina Upstream
The joint Lemigas and PENConsulting Team has just completed their project called Study on Reactivation of Non-Active Oil Structures and Wells at Pertamina Upstream The main objective of this project is to select and prioritize the non-active oil structures/fields based on its current reservoir performance, future potential and economics. The final results are expeted to be incorporated into Pertamina Upstream Business Plan.
To complete the evaluation on the 120+ structure candidates, the study team developed, among others, data collection template, screening tools, reservoir analysis methodology, business plan template, standardized selection process and governance model.
Following is the high level process that the team has gone through in order to complete the prioritization and oil structure reactivation plans.
1. Analyze all non-active oil structures and identify potential structures to be reactivated by using prudent tools and methodology.
2. Prioritize the potential structures based on its production gain and economics
3. Cluster the prioritized structures with quick win, mid-term and long-term categories
4. Develop reactivation program for each selected structure
5. Develop the standardized process, management system and governance, KPI and monitoring system for the execution of non-active oil structures and wells.
